The exhibition for the 26 Concurso de Arte Eduardo León Jimenes displays 23 works by 18 individual artists and 2 collectives in the temporary exhibitions gallery at Centro León. The exhibition design reflects thematic axes identified by the jury during the selection process: Identity / Exclusion; Public Space / The Vernacular; Intimacy / Body; Personal / Collective Memories; Landscape; Craftsmanship / Popular / Participation.
The educational program of this collective exhibition aims for visitors to reflect upon the production and consumption of contemporary art. The program includes reading spots all across the building, areas for construction and deconstruction of objects and texts, among other resources.
Other educational activities are a visual scavenger hunt, the activity pamphlet ¡Mira y Descubre! [Look out and Discover!] for teachers and thematic visits based on the different spots of the educational area.
