Capturing nature and customs

A camera is a machine capable of capturing reality. Registering a visual document of an ephemeral situation in a constantly changing environment: about life, about the landscape. But that can also see beyond the immediate, the author’s point of view, from a perspective that contemplates expressing feelings.

The mastery of the photographic technique at the moment of capture as well as the construction of concepts is essential to achieve images that mark differences, looking for the unusual when we get out of the way in order to avoid dogmas.

When we travel thinking about photography as an objective, we are aware of what is happening. Hidden places, mountains, rivers, lakes, coasts that merge in order to achieve good material. Portraits to strangers to get to know them; people molded physically and culturally by their environment: climate, ancestry, beliefs, traditions… colorful streets and craft markets that vary depending on the place.

The photo safaris put together by ONE & ONE pursue to divulge the natural and cultural values of different regions by means of excursions of low environmental impact, ranging from one to several days, nationally and internationally, developed by photographers for photographers or for anyone interested in knowing and exploring national parks, natural monuments, protected areas, and scientific reserves. Maintaining absolute respect for everything that surrounds us and preserving the integrity of the landscape and the elements and beings that inhabit it.
