Casa Caribe
Branding
The Centro Cultural Gastronómico Casa Caribe is a space dedicated to the promotion of Dominican and Caribbean cuisine at large. Through activities such as talks, courses, workshops, dinners, tastings, and festivals, the Casa Caribe aims to enhance awareness of various cultural and culinary aspects within the extensive Caribbean culinary landscape.
This establishment also serves as the canvas for our resident chef, Rosa María Gómez “La Chefa”, to manifest her culinary projects. At present, her focus lies in the evolution of New Dominican Cuisine, a culinary movement rooted in thorough research of traditional cuisine while embracing new techniques and high-end culinary presentations. The center is a hub where innovation and tradition seamlessly converge.
We chose a color palette inspired by the hues commonly found on the wooden houses in rural areas of the Dominican Republic. Additionally, the arched element on top of the logo draws its influence from the fanlights and transoms characteristic of the Victorian-style homes in the city of Puerto Plata, a distinctive architectural style prevalent along the northern coast of the country.
