The exhibition presents the life, work and time of the outstanding Dominican decimista*, from his birth to his death in 1918. The exhibition was made on the occasion of the commemoration of the centenary of the death of Alix, within the XXI International Book Fair of Santo Domingo in 2018. The pavilion alluded in its forms the structure of a gallera [cock fight ring] and showed illustrations by artist Pragmi Marichal applied on top of photographs by Jack Mc Creary, the latter belonging to the Eduardo León Jimenes Visual Arts Collection.

*decimista: a poet who writes décimas, a type of poetry that responds to a 10 verse stanza with a very particular rhyme structure.
